Hey, I’m Emily! I’m the photographer behind Honey & Wylde Photography, based in Wiltshire.
I photograph weddings, families, maternity, newborns and motherhood, with a documentary-style approach. I like to keep things relaxed and let things happen naturally, rather than spending a session posing you or asking everyone to look at the camera.
I’m there to observe what’s going on and photograph the moments as they happen. The laughs, the cuddles, the chaos, the quiet moments and all the little things that make your family or wedding day yours.
I want your photographs to feel natural and timeless, and most importantly, to feel like you.
Having my own children has opened my eyes to just how quickly time escapes us. One moment you're cradling a newborn, the next you're waving them off to school. Time is a thief but photography to me, is a way of holding on. It freezes those beautiful moments so we can return to them again and again. That’s why I do what I do, to help families press pause and slow down to enjoy the beauty in those every day moments.
When I’m not behind the camera, you’ll most likely find me on long walks with my little team in tow, my wonderful husband Tom, our two kids and our Labradoodle Connie. We have recently relocated from Hertfordshire to Wiltshire. I love pottering around, decorating & crafting, and embracing a slower, simpler pace of life. Our days are busy and chaotic, but full of heart, and I wouldn’t have it any other way.
Photography is more than just capturing images; it's about telling a story. My approach to photography is centred on the delicate, sacred moments of authentic love. Whether it's the quiet anticipation before becoming a mother, the fleeting sweetness of those first days with your newborn, or the once-in-a-lifetime exchange of vows on your wedding day.
It’s about being present, breathing in the simplicity of life, and allowing the true essence of your story to unfold naturally. I believe that these are the moments that are full of magic, and it’s my privilege to be there to capture them in their most honest and intimate form.
